The MJL Foundation is pleased to announce it’s 2008 Partnerships with the following Organizations...

  • Dare to be Different is an organization that equips churches to create a powerful marriage ministry within. They provide marriage mentor training that equips lay couples to mentor at risk marriages as well as pre-marital couples. In addition they provide follow up training for the mentors and marriage banquets/classes throughout the year that help recruit mentorees and provides awareness about the marriage program. This is a wonderful way to campaign against the divorce rates in the Christian community. The stronger the marriages in a church the more the church can reach out to the lost. Together with the MJL Foundation, our goal is to reach out to hurting couples in the community, especially the ones that are at risk of divorce, struggling with depression and all the pain of a broken relationship. We will focus on 3 areas. One: We will train and equip couples in churches to learn how to mentor other couples, Two: We will provide conferences, banquets and classes on how to strengthen marriages and Three: We will provide Extreme Marriage Make-Over events that help HIGH risk couples.   • Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center staff has been providing comprehensive, quality mental health services to individuals in Clinton County and surrounding areas for 38 years. They provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families, medication management, evaluation services, and education to over 2500 individuals each year. Bridgeview has counselors in every school district in Clinton County. The MJL Foundation partnership will allow Bridgeview to provide counseling to teenagers in these school districts who are found to be at risk for suicide or mental illness, and who have no other funding available.
