The Vera French Foundation was created to raise funds and community awareness to support the mission of the Vera French Community Mental Health Center which will enhance the mental health of all in our community by providing quality, accessible, and comprehensive care. Vera French School Based Project: In 2001, Vera French Community Mental Health Center decided to bring therapy services to the elementary schools of Scott County. A trained therapist in the school provides children and their families with convenient on-site therapy. Also, offering therapy in school increases communication between parents, school staff and the therapist to better support the child.
